Humanity?

Can Humanity win? The greatest threat to the longevity of Humanity is the human desire to devolve itself into like groups and with that desire the ability to disassociate from the other group, the willingness to view those different from “us” as non-human, and thus become willing to engage in immoral and evil acts toward the “different than us” group.

Imagine you live in a wonderful city as we do. You have a home, Heat, electricity, garbage collection, and running, clean water. This hypothetical city has a robust public transportation system but most of us, experience such abundance that we choose to use our own cars to get about. We can because our city has a grand network of well-maintained roads. Do you have this picture, can you imagine such a place, such a life, can you?

Now imagine, you go to bed tonight to be awoken by the sound of gunfire, bombs bursting around you the lights go out. Sirens are blazing all around the city and the news tells you that the country next to you, your neighbor, who until now has been friendly, has invaded. In fact, you have…
