Good morning all of my lovely friends, acquaintances, and fellow Authors. I just wanted to relay some information I have received.
I contacted Medium Support yesterday 7 October 2021 and asked for an update because as you can see below that is when they said they would announce the winners.
Well, it has been moved again.
Hi,
Due to the large number of submissions we received, we are taking more time with the judging.
The prompt winners and grand prize winner will be announced on October 12th, and the honorable mentions will be announced on October 15th.

On the 22nd of September 2021, I sent an inquiry to Medium through the HELP center, my inquiry is below.
I received a response later in the day. Here is the response.
So they are still judging the entries. Pushed back the announcement until the 7th of October, and the Honorable mentions will be announced on the 11th of October.
They did not put a year in the answer. Make of that what you will.
I have a question for all who read this.
Did anyone see an official announcement for this change? They say “Be sure to follow blog.medium.com for the announcement.” I do and have yet to see anything.
