The State of the Nation
The State of our nation, from Towns without clean drinking water to Warmongering pigs in high office, is a key support for the theory that you do not have to be smart, moral, competent, educated, or of sound mind to be an elected official in the United States of America.
I provide more examples.
A mayor of a city that just suffered tremendous loss of homes to a massive wildfire tells citizens they can get information on aid and assistance at, yes, this is a Quote, “URL.”
The sitting president of the nation, while addressing the press about the wildfires in California, says to the sitting vice president, “Fire away, no pun intended.”
Multiple American politicians make statements about the money being spent to support Ukraine’s efforts in the War against Russia. It is the best money we have ever spent on a war because no Americans are dying.
The new incoming president proposes, “We are going to rename the Gulf of Mexico, The Gulf of America. A beautiful name.”
The new incoming president claims that in “Springfield, (Mass.) they (immigrants) are eating the cat, they are eating the dogs, They’re eating the pets.”
The sitting Vice president once said, “The children of the community are the children of the community.”
While the incoming president once said, “Nuclear is very important to me.”
The bigger problem is the people are not much better. After all, the elected officials of the nation are elected by the people.
Multiple American government officials, when asked about the continued extremely hostile and unrestrained attacks by Israel into the Gaza Strip, have said, “Israel has the right to defend itself.” Ignoring the current situation and a more tenable peaceful solution for the future.
Again, the people aren’t much better; during the Republican National Convention in 2024, many supporters of the President-elect wore mock bandaids on their ears as some symbol of solidarity with the man who had recently escaped an assassination attempt with a minor injury to his ear.
